Data Dilemma's: Data and AI for an accessible Amsterdam
AgendaDuring the next edition of Data Dilemma's, we explore how data and AI can help to make the city more accessible.
Commuting to work, traveling independently by public transport, or even doing groceries may seem routine, but that’s not the case for everyone. Many people with mobility limitations struggle to navigate the city freely. Together with our speakers, we’ll discuss how accessible Amsterdam really is for people with limited mobility and how we can improve it:
Vishruth Krishnan, Data Scientist at the Municipality of Amsterdam’s Innovation Department, will present a route planning tool designed to help people with limited mobility navigate the city more easily.
Hans Voerknecht, strategist for sustainable accessibility at Een Nieuwe Kijk, will discuss the ‘Integrated Perspective on Accessibility’ method, aimed at improving accessibility for all.
Michiel Bontenbal (Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences) will share insights on the Urban Sounds sensor, a collaboration with the volunteer organisation Sensemakers.
